The film, in spite of mixed reviews by critics, had a commercial success, netting more than $117 million globally. The actress had a minor role as a teenager in John Tucker Must Die. The film was not well-received.

Amber Midthunder was born in the United States of America. She is known for her roles on The FX series Legion as well as The CW series Roswell, New Mexico, as well as appearances in Longmire, Banshee, and Reservation Dogs.
