Her credits include actress in Solas (1999) The to Her (2002), to Her (2002), and I know who you are (2000). Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. She most recently played Carlota in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actress and performer, is also a stand-up comedian. Her most recognizable part was that she appeared as a co-host of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. Since then, she's played in sitcoms, such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth and NBC's American Auto. She also played a role in the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her professional career at Northwestern University; she initially studied as a vocal major. She later changed to theater studies when she began to be involved with the campus' improv comedy group. The same spirit carried over into her roles in supporting roles, such as the controlling Sheila Shay in Suburgatory, and the eccentric Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite. All of this has led to American Auto, an NBC comedy series that finally gives Ana Gasteyer her starring role. Most notable is her time as a regular actor in the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live between 1996 until 2002.
