Andrea Navedo
Andrea Navedo is an American actress and published author. Her career began on the soap operas for daytime viewers like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later seasons, had various guest roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of NY) is an American actress and singer. Navedo was the first professional actress to appear in daytime dramas. Between 1995 and 1997 Navedo starred on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live in the part as Linda Soto. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Her career began on film with a small part on the show Girl 6 (1996), later she appeared in episodes of New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo played a role as a co-star on Double Take (2001), an action comedy, and she also appeared in Washington Heights (2002). Navedo was a regular actor in the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 and 2004, playing Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages followed in the same vein, along with Blue Bloods. Navedo has also been in numerous films, including El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo is also one of the several characters who appeared for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Navedo was a part of the Comedy film Superfast! which was a comedy film that satirizes The Fast and the Furious film series, which was released in 2015. Navedo began her acting career with daytime soaps. Linda Soto was her role in ABC's One Life to Live between 1995 between 1995 and 1997. In 1999, Sherry Sandoval was cast in CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. The actress had a minor role in Girl 6 in 1996 and later appeared on New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo made her debut in film in the film Girl 6 (1996) and later guest-starred on episodes of New York Undercover as well as The District.
